I’ll be looking at two bollards for a start & possibly a few other of the ideas you guys have thrown up.
Anyone have any knowledge on a good bollard system?
Funnily enough I just went to my local Sims Metal recycling yard and the manager was super helpful when I told him what I needed it for, he got the bloke on the scrap metal crane (whatever thats called) to pick out a galvanised traffic light pole from the pile of metal, so I just cut it to the right height and bought a galve cap for it.
Sorry stuffed that up. I was trying to copy a previous response

I can't help myself; sook is nothing like champ.
Grammar, it's the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit. Waitnc, you're the latter.
Ease up turbo, don’t blow a gasket. I was after helpful advice on keeping my car more protected, not a lecture from someone just telling me what I already wrote. I went into a bit of detail as it might help a fellow car enthusiast on here that reads it & might make them think about adding more security on their cars. I do have a few things in place at the moment but was looking into other ideas.
I could of simply wrote: What stops my car from getting stolen?
Imagine how many idiot responses this thread would of attracted then!!!! Ask a dumb question = get dumb answers!!!
I never said I live in Cranbourne, I haven’t for many years despite what I may have wrote on here a long time ago or said on my profile or wherever. I do appreciate that you went to great lengths to find that out. I can see your only trying to help, even if it’s in your own little strange way.
You see champ, this is a car forum where likeminded people from all over Australia & even overseas come together to share info, details, ideas....hell, some people just come on here because they’re just plain old board & look for a chin-wag or just look to past the time.
Some even come on here to just be a bit of a dick when know one asked for it. I happen to have read one of these posts quite recently & think those that do come on here to “troll” or not actually offer up any useful things to say on a topic are probably confusing this car forum with Facebook.
Cheers, Nig.
