At last its alive!! Fired up for the first time since coming apart for a major refresh. Rattling the shed walls its a great noise but some minor issues to attend to before Phillip Island in March.

The 50th anniversary celebration of the L34 was conducted last weekend. Two days at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and a day at Holden’s former proving ground at Lang Lang. Over forty L34 Toranas from as far afield as Western Australia and Queensland in attendance testament to the interest in these cars. The whole event was brilliantly organised and perhaps never to be repeated again. We had the Gough Torana finished in time to participate however there are still some bugs to iron out. At least we made some noise, had our first proper drive and were able to participate in Saturday’s photo shoot.

Great photos Tim - that must have been an incredible couple of days. I can only imagine the sweet sound of all those V8s together.
