We really need more Toranas. The ratio should be at least 50% Toranas so come on people, get those Torana's signed up. After all, we have all had at least 6 months notice of the event.

Tiny, post some "URGENT, READ THIS" threads in other sections so people see this. Coupe_202, RTS Guy... not gonna bother listing them all. There are more people that have not checked this recently.

I WILL get a list at the meeting tonight. Does anyone want to organize some advertising in Newspapers? always helps on club runs!

I dont want to advertise in newspapers as this is a forum organised thing.. our members and mates...

But ive sneaked a thread into the general section but ive been busted.. tinks has already threatened to move it cause it IS against the rules...

but we need the 100% racers to add their name to the list above!

Tiny... it's still advertising the forum. It's the same as inviting friends IMO, but you're the boss so I'm not going to argue.

At least you're racing Ed, burnouts are only for if you're not driving home :P

Tiny do you have a cut off for definites. I'll drive down for the day but will have to check for weather etc before I leave.. I'll have to chuck a sickie as we're on arvo shift this weekend.. As for racing how strict are they with oil "weeps" the old rear main in the red motor weeps abit and after driving 250 odd kays to get there I'll probably need to give her a quick wash off.. otherwise I'll see what she'll doooo.

Well, no one is very interested in coming it seems. Russel is gonna have a crack at one of the one-piece rubber sump gaskets and if that stops the leak we'll have an 18th person.

Maybe I could convince dad to enter the Hilux 2.6L N/A Diesel...

I want to go, but not sure if I can afford it as I spent about $120 on fuel just last weekend  plus am worried the LJ will break down up there from something unforseen. Don't want to rock up in a VN when I have a torry that can be used.

Wheres the nearest BP from heathcote, and does it have Ultimate there?

I'm sure there will be one close. If you're worried about it, fill a jerrycan or two up and if you can't get 'em there, I can.

There isnt a formal cut off, this list is to guage how many people are ACTUALLY going to make the trip. Your more than welcome to come and it would be great if you can make it! I'm sure a weeping rear main wont get picked up, theyre only worried about visible fluid leaks say for example a blown trans cooler line, or a positive dribble that is visible ( if it leaves a puddle whiule its running moving up in line.. i';d say youd get picked! a drop here or there.. Nah!)

Belive me when i say i know how difficult it is... I paid $635 to get a heavy duty towing kit installed on the ford, Organised my trailer only to find out ive got an oil pressure problem that could well lead the the destruction of my engine if raced. That's the only reason i'm not bringing it! I am however going to come down in the ford and hell even give it a thrash!

Heath: For a list that was started just this afternoon.. 18 100% confirmed entires isnt TOO bad. I'm sure there are people who are coming to race that havent seen this yet to add their name too.

We reallyneed around 30-40 compeditors to make teh day fun. I we have just 20.. then yep.. it'll go ahead.. but the racing will be sporadic and there will be big gaps of time with no fun ( racing!!)

Anyway.. this has been organised for in excess of 6 months.. so i dont really have any excuses... I feel really bad that the car isnt coming but it'll be great to catch up with those who do attend.

Shevster: Mate i fully understand! It would be great to catch up even if you dont race the car, or only give it a few runs during the day....

See you all there.
