Tiny, I will ask about tickets at the door, but it is a fairly small venue so I dunno how you will go.
BUT, I am pretty good mates with the owner and all the bouncers ect so I will see if they can put 2 tickets aside.

Brett, the car should be painted by the end of the week, I have just gotta get off my arse and do it! then its basically just assembley from there. I really gotta do a thread in the projects one day, after I resize and host 300 summernats photos!

I'm not sure about a mass PM... mass emails yes... but i dont think we can with PM!

Knoath: I can belive it would have been a back breaking exercise mate! Thansk again for your efforts!

Makka: Your a champ mate, THanks for that but dont call in any favours or anything! I just cant promise 100% that we'll be there ( or be awake to make it after the tow down! Ive never towed before so it should be interesting!)

Thanks again guys.
Tiny.

Well guys, bad news coming from my direction I'm afraid. LXCHEV got me off my butt with a timely reminder so I started to sort myself out but am unable to get the day off work. I have recently just negotiated a new contract at work and the 18th is my first Sat shift so I'm not able to get it off. So that means that this year I'm going to have to be a no show. 1 month would have been tight for me to get the car up and running but I think I can manage it in 1 year :)

If you're rushing at the end LXCHEV and need a hand to get it done at the last minute then just give me a call and I'll drop everything :spoton:

Peace,

You can bulk PM with some forum software. Tiny, if you give me access to the Admin Control Panel, I'll have a look around for you. I promise I won't alter anybodys post count. :D

Now Matty - what's all this about this new engine of yours?? Do we get to hear all about it yet or not? I think you better go and start a new thread right now and spill the beans! It's just a shame you've never run your current 253 down the 1/4 cos it would have been good to compare them.

HAHA!! Well i will let u guys all know about it when it goes in and hopefully all goes to plan! I need to dust off my camera as well and take some more shots of the HQ i painted on the weekend as well... Hopefully my Hq will be registered in time for drag day as well and i can be towing the torana up on the back of the HQ! Cant wait! i would have like to have seen wat my Current 253 did down the qtr but i guess i cant now! o well i cant wait to see wat this combo is going to get me! No more loosing to shit 4cyl's o hope!

Tiny, I dunno what I'll be taking to Heathcote in March yet because I'm not sure if I'll get the MUSCLE project finished in time, it's just a rolling shell at the moment and I'm still missing some bits to complete the running gear and the clock is ticking.
I've also got my TORRY project that still needs a lot of work for it to be raced properly. Sigh, decisions, decisions, it's hard to work on two projects at the same time, especially when you want to take your time to do it properly.
So I can't as yet say If I'll be bringing both cars or not, It may just be the TORRY with its clunker running gear. But I'll definately be bringing a couple of friends and there will probably be a cheer squad coming along to heckle me and take embarrasing photos.

I don't think I'll be staying at the hotel.

I'll add myself to the list in two weeks, but at this stage I'm there with one car, one driver and some spectators and not staying at the hotel.

Gday Amore! I feel your pain mate! Dont rush your projects just on the count of this day.. I'm SURE we'll organise another one!

Will be great to see you added to the list.. Want to get as many people there as possible to have some fun!

Knoath: No problem mate! I Fully understand how you feel and its not a drama!

EVERYONE: Pleasre remeber that this day is about FUN... Were not out to set world records with our times, its about having fun, and running your car as hard as you feel you want to!

The greatest thing about Heathcote is that your allwed to have a passenger! So if youve not raced before, or you want some help from teh more experienced racers... OR you just wanna go for a ride in someone else's car then you CAN!

The day is ALL about fun.. catching up and enjoying the cars we all love! Putting some names to the faces.. and making some noise!

Please dont forget too.. Accomodation is your concern.. If anyone wants to stay I belive there should still be a couple of rooms at the Tea House Inn where the majority of us are booked. Take a look at Page 11,12,13 oif this thread for more info and call them to book!

DONT LEAVE IT TILL THE WEEKEND.. The comm games are on and Bendigo will be PACKED!

Cheers :spoton:

Originally I posted I may be bringing one or both of my kids. It now appears I won't have either. I wouldn't knock back a ride in either Tiny or Bretts cars. I've never been in an 11 second car before. Well, not with the engine running.

Anyway, I'll have my camera so I can take pics of peoples time slips and host them if required.

I'm talking to Southo about photography for the day.

Jase is taking time off work, and driving down to take pictures of our cars, And i need to get a feel for what people would like to pay for these pictures.

Bear in mind that jase only wants to cover his costs.. Not make money off our backs.

He's VERY kindly offered to burn a CD of Images from the day. All images of your car at High-Resolution burned to a CD. The images are capable of being printed to at at least 20"x30" if required.., for a price of $45 ea ( posted to you), or if we get more than 20 CDs each CD will come with 2 FREE A4 Prints!

Keep in mind that this is a better deal than jason's other clients get.. Including the Dutton Rally!!

Plus of course any pictures you want printed, he can do on high quality photo paper at costs to be discussed directly with him.

Jase is also going to be taking photos to Hopefully put a magazine article in Performance Build Ups of the day.

Please let us know in here if you would like to take advantage of this so that we can help to plan what will be needed of jase.

Thanks.
Tiny.

Great stuff.. I too will be buying some images of my car and helping to get Southo to this event.

Rember that if southo can make it, we have a good chance of being featured in a magazine as a club! How good would it be to be shown to all the readers for such a small community to organise such a great day!!

$45 for a CD if Hi-RES Images and 2 prints is a REALLY good deal especially if you compare it to prices at car shows or for private photo shoots. What more can you ask for! Images of your car doing the burnout or leaving the line or even just in the paddock! CHEAP!

Cmon guys, Pledge your support and lets make sure this day is one to be remebered and live on forever via jason's Pictures.

Cheers!
