Sadly I distinctly remember back in the late '70's when I was enrolled in a night class to learn panel beating there was another guy there with a brand new pair of GTR/XU1 guards to which he cut the wheel arches out of in preparation to fitting to one of them :-(

As a kid, I think I remember that David House's orange/red Torana.
I think there was 3 cars the same from a team down ACT way. Raced for a mob called B.E.R.C.O . Some sort of engine reconditioning place I think. He was pretty unbeatable at the time.

and unrelated...some of the csrs back then looked WAY too tidy for the dirt track.
