The first half of my post was an anti-UC joke, the second bit was a serious suggestion. A bit of petrol on a rag should wipe the glue residue off...

Oh, OK... Ahhh, yeah.... the anti UC jokes bounce right off... I've got some solvents at work ranging from soft as water to "It burns!!! It burns!!!", so I may try something there..... I have access to alcohols of all types too!!! *hic*

Thanks Tiny....I'm torn between moulds and no moulds...I guess if they're not holding on too well after 27 years... will they want to hold on now? I'd rather get em off, but I kinda like the look of the driver's side.... could look into new age moulds??
Ooooh.... VZ Calais? Color coded....mmmmmm?

nice uc

I can honestly say that that is the first time I've heard those two words used in the same sentence. Except for 'Nice job on hacking up that UC' or thereabouts.

and it's Eucalyptus...

Bug and Tar remover. I dont know were you get it from but i found a half full bottle of the stuff at pick a part and it works magic, takes off old dried up masking tape without damaging the paint. Have you ever tried removing dried up old masking tape?

Wheels look good Knoath..

Mod or not mate.. I'll always have a dig :P

Apparently there is a rubber "disk" you can buy from pannel shops that you put in a drill and it "erases" the sticky.. they use this on the cars at pannel shops to get the sikkaflex and double sides tape off the doors from moulds etc.

Cheers!

For $280, I'll have the front and rear springs reset and retensioned to whatever I want... which is a drop of 45mm rear and 55mm front...

Really, that ^^^ shot is too low, I'll end up closer to the first pic.And thanks for tidying up the lack of moulds!
I couldn't be stuffed... :spoton:
