Well how about we all experiment with the tail end of Knoath's UC to see what we can come up with? :spoton:

hillman ,datsun oh its a uc. :D

Datsun, hell yeah. But Hillman? I don't know any Hillmans that look like that lol.

I must admit, I like jake's effort a lot, but it wouldn't look anywhere near that good in real life, esp when you got up close; you could never do it flawlessly.

OK....getting back to the original thread...

MYLJ (Steve) was kind enough to give up an hour (ish) of his time to call in to my place today. He had agreed to have a look at the guards as they've been rubbing on my new BF Goodrich's!!

Well, it's 35 deg in the shade (car was in the sun!!), he hops out of the car, says G'day and grabs his box of tools and tells me to get the wheels off!
And he was into it! Rolled all four guards, did a 1st class job too! :spoton:

A huge thanks to Steve (and his patient partner!) for helping me out!! :spoton:
Anytime you need anything Steve, just give us a yell mate, I owe you one!

If I had a clue I would!! Got no idea about panel work, so explaining his techniques.....where would I start?
I can tell you he did NOT cut sections and fold them back, he knows what he's doing....he used a hammer and dolly and knew where to hit!

Sorry I can't elaborate!

Thanks makka... yeah I'd get the top done too.

What? no UC gags? :tease: :spoton:

Aquarius - LC, I figured no-one would've done it on a Torry before.
Do you think I should stay clear of the Dunnydoor theme?

After all, it's not a real Torana, is it makka? :finger: :tease:

Dick - that paint scheme looks schmick mate. I've always loved the SLE Commo scheme.... never thought it would work on a torrie, but it bloody does in your pic!
