Gents,

Can anyone help with ID on this cam please.....came out of my 72 GTR motor, believe the motor had been rebuilt so not sure if its possible the original cam for the motor. Motor is original for the car.

Cheers in advance, apologies if this should have gone in Engine section.

Brock

Gday, Brock
I reckon that C286 is a casting identifier that all aftermarket camshaft blanks have.
I think there should be another letter or number on there too.
A couple of factory cams I have here have 7 digit part numbers, easy to find them
with a quick google.
The stamp on the end will be the grinder's model code. Is it 343, or an upsidedown 7?

I also have an aftermarket mystery cam, it has EP35 embossed on it
and CWC stamped between inlet lobe 3 and the dizzy cog. B202 stamped
on the end. Was told this by a fella from tighe cams.

Maybe yours is an older code, could call them, or clive cams too
