Dash is mostly done.
Radio blanking plate in (it’s from a HZ).
Just waiting on the SS steering wheel and the wedge bulbs for the fascia lights to arrive.

Fantastic effort Steve!! The UC hatch is a great looking car. Looking forward to start on mine soon
It took a few months but I found a blue SLE / HZ GTS steering wheel to suit the blue interior in my UC hatch.

Nice car. I have a UC choke cable if you're after one.

Nice and clean. The rust you removed, it is basically how my LX hatchback was rust wise when I got it in about 1986. Same rust up near the hinges, and around the hatch rubber. Mine had some in the hatch rubber channel above the tail-lights too. Back then a NOS hatch panel was $50, and really good doors were $250 each so far easier to get bits.
The blue steering wheel is UC or WB Kingswood ute. The sports wheel was optional on WB Kingswood ute, prior to then it only ever came as standard on GTS, SS, XX7, XY5, XU3, SL/E, GTR, SL/R and Gpack and never an option elsewhere. So it belongs exactly where it is!. The steering wheel cap badge is off a HQ V8 Belmont XV2 (SS).

The car is looking fantastic. Nice work.
By the way, why was the rad support removed when you did the bay? Did it have some damage?
