Just to follow on from my intro forum. My 5 speed is in garage waiting and motor/diff about 4 weeks away. Now I’m looking at suspension/brakes upgrade. Can I get views on Kings or Pedders or others? I’m happy with ride height atm how do I measure how much lower than standard I am? Regarding stopping I’m looking at Hoppers yes or no? Other options? Thanks in advance Peter

Currently My UC is on pedders springs with Monroe GT shocks, all brand new. Depending on the driving experience you're after, I find them a bit soft for my liking and will likely look for a stiffer setup.

My old UC ran pedders shocks and springs and I found them a little better.

Brake will also depend on what you're after.

You can go a turned down HQ disc with H series callipers for a marginally better experience, HQ stud pattern and ventilated discs.

I plan on going a hoppers kit myself eventually as I understand it's really straightforward fitment. Depending on the size kit you buy, will dictate wheel diameter.

Other also use wilwood I believe.

Have a look at my built thread ( Hawks torana dream live on) it's on the first page in members projects. It will give you an idea on the height that the lowest pedders springs achieve.

If it rides well and is not bottoming out maybe try just putting some new shocks and thicker swaybars on it.
