Six cylinder engine mount plate differences

Can anyone say if straight six engine mount plates, that bolt to the block, changed geometry from EH through to VK? I am of the opinion they didn't change but Blacky on the FB EK forum reckons he has found several variations, causing him grief in installing a blown red in an EK.
I'm aware of the strengthening applied to passenger side plate at some change but this didn't affect geometry.

I'm almost certain that there was no geometry change to those engine mount brackets.
The only change that effects fitting is when they introduced the wider rubber mount for HK onwards. The earlier mounts (EH/HD/HR were 1/4" in narrower, but if you centred them with an 1/8" washer each side, final position was the same.
My brother EH runs a VK EFI engine, using Commodore mounts & brackets, no problems.

Hi Clay, I thought the brackets were the same geometry for all Holden straight 6cyl engines but that said I have never directly compared EH brackets to HK or HQ etc.

I've seen them with various amounts of bend which can be difficult to spot

I'm pretty sure 1 plate goes in front of the mount and the other goes behind for correct fitment. Maybe this is where his trouble lies?

EH, HD & HR use the same 7427365/366 as HK-HQ.
9929041/042 replaced them for ADR10B in HQ-WB. These mounts were strengthened with extra pieces welded on.
2814771 (LH) was for the a/cond bracket.
VB-VK Commodore went back to the 7427365/366, apparently the ADR10B mounts weren't required for compliance in the later cars.

the two different mounts are a pair , top is a drivers side and bottom is the passenger side .
its been awhile since i have worked on a 6 pot but i don't think you can put them on the wrong side , the bolt holes are different sizes ?
