Can anyone tell me what is required to change from  from Opel 4 speed to Aussie 4 speed

My car is on rotisserie and if the shifter / transmission hole needs modifying  I would like to get it done now

Will the boot for a aussie 4 speed fit this hole

- or anything else that needs to be done

cheers

Dave

Also depends on year of the car, 69 models with Opel you have to modify the cross member mounting at the chassis rails.

Thanks Ken

The rubber boot that rare spares  sell for the aussie gear box-between the console and the body - do you know if it fits that same hole size

I thought boot for Aussie box was same for all models, could be mistaken, you will probably have to drill holes and if fussy fit the clips. I've not used rares boot

The shifter hole in the tunnel is the same for opel M20 and aussie M20. The opel used an adaptor plate to hold the round rubber boot.
The rare spares repro boot is a very good repro of the original Aussie M20 shifter rubber boot.
