Rim/Tyre size commonly used on Toranas (Brock's in particular) at Bathurst.

They look like 14 x 9 1\4, 15 x 10 am I close?

What would be sensible today in compatible backspace?

I am thinking 15 x 8/9, 15 x 10 hotwires? ( I have A9X type flares on the back) , the front flares, well I've seen a  wider front set on a torana but mine were sold to me that all front flares are the same?

Anyone got experience trying these out?

Grateful for any feedback

John hi the a9x rear flairs had 2 different sizes  the wider flair will take 15x10 rim with 295  50 15 tyre,  u can go lower in profile, u will have to find out  which flair u have, as for the front u can go either 14x8 or 15x8 in rims with 235 or 245 50 tyres you will have to trim the front flair to accomadate  the tyre

From 1974 to 1976, the HDT used 14 by 9 1/4 and 14 by 10 rims that were cast in magnesium by the Commonwealth Aircraft Company. (Rims in foreground below)  For 1976-7 there were a few sets of these made in 15 inch, then they went to the Jongbloeds as fitted to the Marlborough hatchbacks.
