They look like a good product. I had already made version 1 of this well before that product was released, but really it's very similar. Mine works well.

If you're gonna make it yourself, watch this video I made first hahaha

$495+post is a lot of biscuits for that, I reckon.
I’d have a crack at it myself, but it wouldn’t turn out as
snazzy as Heath’s effort.
If you can squeeze it in before the car gets rewired, go for it
Plus, there’s a nifty instructional video above, too

Well my wiper motor was $40 and you could get one all day every day from a wrecker for that price. I do not know what Trico charges for a brand new one but it's probably not mega cheap.

I don't know what that one comes with as far as connecting the linkage up etc. but if it comes with some really good documentation on where everything needs to be mounted and pivot from etc. then that would save a decent amount of time. That company certainly does some lovely fabrication.

I'm inclined to think if the person who's building your car isn't being paid by the hour (example, you're doing it yourself) you may as well handle the lot and save some bucks.

But if the alternative is paying a professional to handle it, you'd probably do well by purchasing that kit and getting someone to install it.

Brand new trico wiper motor I got to adapt in my FB, from a BA falcon, about $60.
