Hi Guys,

 

I've gone and lost the advance springs from my Bosch 308 distributor. Now I have access to a 253 version. I know they have different degrees of advance etc. So I imagine the weights are different, but could I use the springs from the 253 dizzy? I was hoping they would be interchangeable and not unique to each type with different spring rates.

Talking about Bosch. The weights are the same for 6 & 8 cyl.

It is the advance springs that are different.

So the advance weights are the same in both the 253 and 308?... And so the 253 springs must be different??.. And there fore can't use them??
