I want to use stainless allen key bolt with washer to use on the new bliss bonnet hinges i have..a guy on fakebook has some 5/16 unc with washer and thought maybe they might fit? Screenshot_20220626-170053.jpg 284.12K 8 downloads

They're called "cap screws" in hex if you like. The Allen key is tool.

You reckon they would hold and not slip as they were listed as fender bolts..im starting to think maybe not..
I wondered that as well, but didn't say. Stainless steel bolts wouldn't be as strong as the original steel ones, so had me wondering whether you would be able to tighten them enough before breaking them: they look pretty though!

I would want the underside of those washers to be flat not stepped.

If you are that worried about them coming lose then put some loctite on them.
The stainless are probably stronger than the factory bolts. The factory ones are not a high grade bolt.
