Hi Neale,

There is a specific sub-forum for "wanted to buy" type threads.

http://www.gmh-toran...forum/4-wanted/

Trying to get your hands on an unmolested LX wiring harness (or LH... they have a few differences but nothing too dramatic) is actually quite difficult nowadays. Aaron at "All Auto Recreations" does actually make full reproduction harnesses if the budget allows. And he can sell them section-by-section if you just need a tail light loom or something like that. I do not know what his lead time is.

If you have one - or find one - that's a bit second hand. You can buy a lot of the connectors/crimp terminals etc. that you might need to repair it from the above shop. I used a lot of these when modifying my loom but trying to make a lot of it similar to the factory style, with connectors, etc.

One of the forum members UCgazman has painstakingly produced some top quality wiring diagrams for the different models, and these are an asset to anyone doing wiring harness repairs:

Good luck.

UC is a lot more different to LX than LH (particularly around the fuse box) - would be ok as a donor for connectors etc if repairing an LX loom...
