Transmission cooler lines V8 Trimatic LX

I have just sourced a V8 trimatic to put in my 308 LX but don’t have the cooler lines. I am converting from manual.
Have any of you made your own or is buying new my only realistic option?
Cheers

You don't have to run hard lines. I've had rubber lines in my car for 25 years (TH350 to a B&M trans cooler mounted in front of the radiator), and still going strong.
On the note of trans coolers, I would encourage you to run a standalone trans cooler, rather than using a radiator with the integrated cooler. If you're converting from manual, I assume that's your plan anyway?

Hi Richard. I made my own because I had to. Running T400 so different set up to you. I did have to drill 2 holes in the radiator support panel for them to run through but no big deal. Cheers Ron

Is it that much of an issue if you use a radiator with the trans cooler built in?

Cooling lines running through the radiator have been known to fail often.
End up with a pinky coloured transmission fluid and all sorts of gear change problems.
If the transmission gets hot, it increases the temp of the water going back to the engine.
If the engine gets hot, it increases the temperature of the fluid in the box.
Neither are ideal.
Reckon it was a purely cost saving measure from the manufacturers using in radiator cooling.
