I have had the black and white photo of brock driving one of the promo hatches at Liverpool for years, but a mate has only just put me on to the youtube video of the Marlboro Grand National race in 1979.  It isn't very clear footage, but during the pace laps just befor the race you can see both a hatch and a four door on the track. (at the 3min 55 sec mark)  Bloody youtube links still wont work in here.  Just get on their site and type 1979 Marlboro Grand National into the search box and you will find it.
