Didn't Brock and Moffat take a Commodore to a 24 Hour Race?

 

May not have been Le Mans, may have been the Spa 24 Hr or something else?

 

I remember Moffatt telling a story how Brock was doing way faster lap times than him and told him you can ride the kerbs in the chicane cause its a Holden and it can take it.

yeah, I think in the group A era they took 3 cars over, 2 x Rothmans and 1 x Chickadee Bailey/Grice.  Won the "Kings cup" or something for best team effort.

Gricey did quite a few of the Euro Group A races that year ..... funnily didn't have enough money to do well, but the races he did participate in, heopened some eyes.
