The tags are off a short top gear car too. I know there were a fair few made but you don't regularly see them.

I just don't get it.

These things have to be the bargain basement of muscle !

A mate recently sold his Salamanca L34 locally for 130K.

In a market where clone / copy / tribute SLR's are asking 130K , i think the L34 should be well over 200K.

Why is an L34 wearing SL alloy tail light surround mouldings?

L34 didn't have the bumper bar rubber strips either, did it?

henc why I said the tags. Until proven otherwise it is a rebody in my eyes - look at the rivets. It may well be legit but alarm bells are ringing at those rivets and the price.

Remember it is asking, not sales! I agree though that of all the Toranas the L34 is the gun, what lets it down is it is a sedan. If Bond hadn't been black flagged in Bathurst 1974 for a loose sump bolt dripping oil onto the exhaust the LH would have won 3 years in a row. No other car in the history of Bathurst to that point had won three times, even in the V8 supercars era not sure if any particular series of car won three times prior to VE? Twice I think VR did, and Sierra, VL, VK, VH Skyline, LX A9X, XA GT, LH L34 and Marki Cortina.

Exactly what I was thinking. It is a re-shell, hence why it is so cheap.

Well known to be a reshell and not much L34 left except for the tags.

Anything with Gene in it is going to significantly reduce the value. ;)
