Getting easily distracted and starting to lose motivation, the car isn't going to be perfect, it's just going to be DRIVEN!!! lol

At the end of the day mate, its gonna be a daily! And its gonna be a way cooler car than any of your mates will have!

Once you are earning the big bucks in a couple of years you can do it again like i am and get it right!

Yep that's exactly what I'm thinking mate. The point is when it's all done and said, I want to be driving it, not admiring its paintwork. That can come when I have more skill and money. Thanks Matt

But most of my mates have pretty cool cars... remember, not only am I very influencial, but I hang out with lots of guys with cool old cars ;)

Anyway Rob helped me with some panelbeating/stress removal with the guard that turned out suprisingly well. Then when I got it home I fixed up some of the easier dints as well (with my awful panelbeating skills that I'm yet to refine), also with suprisingly good results :P

Okay wtf is wrong with photobucket i have spent the last 20 minutes trying to upload the photos and it just keeps logging me out. Am I the only one who thinks photobucket has turned to absolute shit recently?

EDIT: Great so it is uploading the images but not putting them in my gallery. I'm sure they will appear in a few minutes. Piece of shit

They were working when I just edited the post. Photobucket must have had a delay before they automatically deleted them.

EDIT: Okay just got them working again... right?

Just bolted up a "Fender Reforming Tool" to the front LHS hub and I'm gonna have a play around with that after I find a suitable mallet to start the lip-rolling with...

I have now got my primer and high fill and all the other necessary products (I hope). I'd like to start working with that on... Tuesday probably (need to borrow an airline and wouldn't mind someone giving me a rough demo to get me started). Almost finished building my new BMX in my break as well :D

I might leave the front panels as is for the time being and just focus on painting everything from the upper firewall and front of the doorjams back.

OHHHH and I decided to go Acrylic instead of 2k because it should suit my situation better.

lol only if you are willing, but it would be whatever day suits you not just Tuesdey. I will nag another mate (Marty) into it if you don't have the time. Not sure what time he knocks off this time of year...

But yeah the point was that I could probably spend a bit more time with bog in a few sections before I have to spray. I have been pretty lazy and need to get back into it.

when you say "airline" heath. Do you mean some hose for your compressor and stuff? If you do, just pick some up from bunnings! its nice and cheap! and a good investment!

Mongrel fed me heavy beer.

w000 bought an air hose and started experimenting with primer tonight. Getting a pretty lean mixture that I can't adjust out, and a very small spray pattern but I am still having fun and I think it's working alright.

Only finished up half an hour ago, I think the compressor may have been keeping the neighbours up lol

Hopefully tomorrow I can knock over pretty much all the remaining filler work and prime some more panels. Hope to have primed all the sections of the car from the firewall back and start working on high fill from there on. I don't know when I go back to school but it will be VERY soon. :(
