Enough for me to not buy as much as I wanted.

You'll regret that when u run out and have to get another lot mixed up and it doesn't match and u end up respraying the whole car again. (it happened to me). How many litres did u end up buying? I went through 6L painting mine but thats because i kept screwing things up and having to re-do them.

Only 4L of green but the top half of the doorjams, doors and bonnet won't be painted in green. Will see how I go. Live and learn hey?

4L Will be heaps! When i first painted my car in a Solid colour, I used just under 4L and we did everything! Engine bay, Door Jams, Under Hatchlid, Flares, Bonnet Scoops etc etc. We even did some touch ups later.

If you get the body good at the start you will be fine!

Also we used a suction fed gun so we were wasting a lot more paint in the bottom of the gun!

Yeh I'd stuffed up a few times thats why i ended up wasting so much paint. Atleast i know theres plenty of paint on my car lol.

No lol the roof will be green. All I said was that the top half of the doorjams and top half of the doors will be black, not the top half of the car.

That gives me some confidence matt, thanks. I will need some for touchups but yeah not heaps for other stuff hopefully. No engine bay or anything...

P.S. where can I get cheap black paint? I rung Repco and they said they just had black lacquer and black wheel paint (pressure packs). This is useless, who sells Gloss Black (IN A TIN!) cheaply? Don't want to pay more than $20/L

Most paint shops will sell plain gloss black at around $20-$25 a litre... I have seen it at Supercheap even! Sounds like the nuffer at repco didnt know what he was talking about!~

gloss black huh......... semi-gloss hides more inperfections in the engine bay... but for round the doors and black outs you will want gloss.....

mmm hurry up and paint your car or hurry up and hook in to the mini chick! lol

I have school man, I'm not on holidays. If I was I think this f*cking car would be painted. Besides, I'm sure you can't just not show up to work for a week without them caring.

The sun has conveniently heated up the panels I am working on to approximately 600 degrees...
