Yeah for straight off the gun I am incredibly pleased. I thought you couldn't get gloss without buffing it with acrylic? lol I must be doing something wrong or right.

as for the gloss... if you get that on the body i wouldn't bother buffing or rubbing it back!

Undercoat is just PaintMobile special, but the high fill is something else and I'll get back to you on that one.

No matter what the paint is its very easy to get a shine over small curvy surfaces.
With Protec Acrylic, its not the greatest paint but not the worst.
Mix it to about 120% reducer for the first few coats till you cant see through it. If its a thin color then you might have to drop back to 100% (50/50).
Then when its all a uniform colour, start thinning it out. Go to 150% (75/25), and try to melt the paint in. If its a bit pealy when your done dont be afraid to spray it at 200% for a final glaze coat or two, or i have been known to spray strait acrylic thinners over a car back when i was spraying acrylic to bring it up a bit.
Just remember to put on lots of paint for cutting back later, and put an extra couple of coats on all the edges. But you should go around and do all these first anyway.
The smoother the finish off the gun the less buffing you need to do.
Cheers.

Protec outlet is situated around the corner (kinda) from PaintMobile, and they sell their products at half the price of PaintMobile...
We found out the hard way with their epoxy.
For anyone using their products look them up.... maybe on Hammond Rd Dandy.
