f*ck

Rain blew down my doors which I had leaning up against each other in primer. Door frame vs. Door skin, lotsa nice deep scratches. f*cking weather, won't be spraying them for a while now because i'm gonna have to high fill them again and that takes ages to stop shrinking.

Not that I am gonna have any time to do it now because I have 3 days left and I am recording on Saturday and have tonnes of homework to-boot! Not holding my breath

Anyone else in Melbourne get #@$^%& up by the wind? I didn't have the internet but maintained power unlike my mate's place I was at today.

hehe that lancer is a stock 1.6 or 1.8 or something, FWD, 5spd with a stupid exhaust and a filter. And the old owner had a NOS setup on it (for show only as that thing would explode violently if it were used on it). Also complete with a GSR interior (nice improvement) and a fully sick stereo. What a classic car - no longer has the flames or the nip wheels.

Heath, I just clicked on your myspace page, I've never looked at myspace or facebook before.
Your long winded 'about me' section was a good laugh and I've got to say, I'm really impressed by your favourite music.
But one thing that eludes me..... whats with ranga pride ?

Ranga Pride: What Redheads like to have some involvement in. It makes them feel more like people when they are in a big group.

hahah good call Rob.

yeah Mick "ranga" is slang for orangutang (which remember, is red). That's a very common term used to describe someone who suffers from gingervitis (watch here if that doesn't make sense to you). Now my hair isn't actually as red as everyone makes it out to be, but my mates still call me a ranga (without actually meaning to insult me, but it is a derogatory term in general), so I just confidently say "RANGA PRIDE" whenever anyone does it haha.

I'm actually a daywalker :spoton:

Talk about getting off(!) topic & a little below the belt! ROFL. :tease:

Anyway, where's the latest & greatest with the Torry? All i can see is talk about red heads & rice rockets!

I spent a few hours in the shed recently on my torry, slowly massaging a rear quarter some more. Soon it's time for the beaver panel, and i need to buy myself a slide hammer. That's the next tool on the shopping list. I have just bought a power steering pulley removal & install kit, got a few pumps to rebuild.

If it's not windy tomorrow, i may even get the mig out & buzz up a small rust hole in the quarter i was working on!

Cheers

Hey Rob that door is ready to go. Hope I didn't hold you up with that - if the offer is still open. Not gonna be home today, Torana's progress is stalled :P

Just because it takes a long time to shrink doesn't mean it isn't the bomb. I am very glad I used it.

^ Think you've sanded too much. Your Torana is looking like a Lancer. Nice paint though.
