With this guy's reputation, I'm not going to argue about it. He reckons they are the goods, although I have heard conflicting opinions (I was listening when you said that lol).
And yeah I paid nothing for the mixer either...

Seems like you got some haters up in here lol
Anyway if i was you id ignore all these people yellin "paint the front" at you and go over the whole car. IMO you got a lot of bodywork to do b4 you try and finish it off. If you get the whole car up to a consistant standard then paint it all at once it will come out a lot nicer. But thats just my humble oppinion. And dont stress to much on the panels not lining up and stuff it will look decent if you get the panels nice and straight and get the paint looking nice. If its straight and has a nice shine the gaps wont matter so much.
Gas smells funny i wouldnt have it on a car unless i was going for ultimate economy. But its up to you have you seen the LPG injected set ups?

Manifold is not and cannot be water-heated, has no bosses or anything. It's for a 9-port, WOT, but maybe that's to suit something on a VB commodore? Whatever, they're coming off. I was more curious rather than worried.

Might be to mount a heat sheild off? I would consider keeping them on for the moment until you fit it and have a look?

The rest of the car is up to quite a good standard, that is why he painted it. Afaik the gaurds are a bit shitty and were the one thing holding Heath back from
rego, so he thought f*ck it i'll do them later.(Also this is crap weather for painting)
The guys making comments are his mates ribbing him, it is all in good humour.

Doogs:
The rest of the car is ok but i was merely suggesting that if he went over the car again when he paints the front he would get a better end result...
I wasnt sayin it like your all dickheads or anything lol.
One of the guards is very shitty and needs to go in the scrap metal bin. Sorry heath but its got more wrinkles than a 90 yr old mans ballsack.

Any project worth doing is off the road min ten years.
That makes me feel a lot better about my project.

Unless u have a shit load of cash/spare time, and good hookups
but yes also if its worth doing, its worth doing properly i hate it when people do a "complete" rebuild in a few yrs and then 5yrs later the paint is coming off, or theres rust etc

Nope, close though. She's a four slot. MC6/Torquemaster/Philipino Box, put behind the six cylinder UC.
and VC commo's...I had one in my VC 6 Cyl race car, the box was second hand when I bought the car and I did 26 race meetings with that box fitted. I broke 3 axles in the time I had the car, which was more from the diff being locked etc. ....so dont knock the gearbox as it held up fairly good. Motor by the way was a red 6 cyl with triple webers etc.
