Yeah, but most people do that BEFORE they're painted! :stirpot:

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

Yeah well that's what would happen in an ideal world Couldn't have the K Frame on when doing the body and needed to have flare fitment prior to spray, clear and buff. We made a call knowing that we might need to do some adjustments later.

She'll be right, mate! At least it's white, not some psychedelic translucent pearl metallic concoction that you'd never be able to colour match.

So long as you don't have to move the bolt holes in the guard itself, that shouldn't be too major. :P

Could I recommend making a turn-buckle brace to push the front corner of the flare out away from the bumper bar iron? Just bend the thing out a bit until it clears.

You want the wheels to stick as far out as possible, and you make the body fit around them. Moving the wheel inwards relative to the car results in an ugly Torana. :)

A turnbuckle brace was my first port of call to try. Thought I could prototype the concept with some bits of wood and wedges :-) I have 3 bolts holding the flare to the airdam. Middle one goes through the body as well so will temporarily release that.

I found the thread about the scanned LH LX parts manual. Unfortunately all the links to download the manual are cactus. Would anyone have a current link ?

Hi Kim, fantastic looking hatchback and not a bad shed setup by the way. All the little teething things to sort out towards the end, I’d be happy just to get close to that haha. Cheers
