Hi all.

Can anyone share some info on the additional numbers stamped next to the engine numbers on this 186 and 308 please?

Could it be a replacement/Reco engine or an old Gem exchange engine maybe?

Thanks in advance.

Eric

Some shops used to stamp 92 above the fuel pump when they built 192s (186 out 0.060").

If the T6911 was done separately by hand, they made a good job of it. Perfectly aligned.

Ok... thank you all... my first guess was something happened on 6/9/2011... but I had this motor years before then. The 308... well... who knows. As mentioned, it will be some secret squirrel code from when someone did a rebuild.

I just wanted to check it wasn't anything significant as Im looking to do one last build... maybe... and a shed clean out.

Thanks.

Eric
