Can the Lj radiator support panel be replaced without removing the guards.

I believe that it is possible to do. I haven't done it myself though.

Yes,I've done it. There's a trick to welding in replacement though, maybe not a trick but a method.

I was having a look might be possible after removing the nose cone

I took off the front valance because it was badly rusted. Turns out the rad support panel was also pretty bad behind it on the left hand side and both lap welded edges.
I was thinking of getting the repro rad support panel and welding in a bottom cut of it for fresh steel behind the valance. What does everyone think?
