I'm running a mechanical fuel pump with my Comp Cams hydro roller in the SBC (imagine it's a billet cam, can't recall). What I do recall is having to be fussy when selecting the correct fuel pump push rod. Too long ago now to remember the specifics, but I was guided by the team at Comp Cams in the USA, and then Eagle Auto Spares locally provided me with the right item.
