I guess tyre wear is tyre wear, but ( and I also have those manuals) those pics are way old school.

I notice my steering arms don’t have a flat spot on them to allow easy adjustment. I guess I’ll have to pop the tie rod off?

Loosen the rack boot clamp and the lock nut on tie rod, turn the rod with vice grip or multigrips.

Yeah trying to avoid that as I 2 pac’d them.

Then pull the big end of boot back and turn from there, nobody will see it.

What is this rear drive thrust angle you speak of?
