Yeah, they fall apart just after the warranty expires.

That's a bit harsh.

I've sold a lot of Fenix radiators & the only time I've had dramas (only 2 out of many dozens sold BTW) was when the fitter used the wrong coolant or coolant mix. I've had no fitment or quality issues.

They are like anything made in China. You get what you pay for & these seem better than average in that department.

Not my experience with them, and I made the mistake of recommending to a friend who also had problems. My current radiator is made in China, both far better quality and cheaper. Also wasn't supplied with the wrong cap, or an overflow that points directly into the fan.

Not making excuses, but that sounds like some type of custom/special build unit.

All the ones that I have sold have been OEM style replacement units, with all of the outlets in factory locations.

Like a lot of these importers, Fenix probably have more than just one supplier.

So is this the one I should get for my LX sedan with 308? Is the bottom part for an auto cooling? Don't need that.

I was going to go the fan set up as well.

Otherwise I have a radiator out of my HQ that could use a recore as the fins are looking a bit f'd.

What do you recommend?
