Hi There
If this is agains forums rules, mods please delete.
I have a Trimatic that I'd like to beef up, can anyone recommend any good transmission builders they have used in Melbourne?
I am not chasing massive horsepower out of my Holden V8, just want something that can handle a little more HP than my motor will throw at it. Something with a baby hi stall as Id eventually like to upgrade the cam in it.
Any recommendations appreciated.

Which suburb are you in?
Are you looking for drive in/drive out or are you pulling the box yourself?

Im based in northern suburbs, I think I'd prefer drive in drive out.

AW Automatics in Ferntree Gully by any chance Rexy?
Ironically, I was at a car club meeting tonight and this same question got asked. Several members all put forward AW - lots of good references from within the club.
Thanks for that, last night I googled Automatic Transmission businesses in Ferntree Gully and saw AW. I went to their website and they do performance gearboxes. If they are the ones Rexy was referring to they definitely seem to be worth talking to.

Yes indeed.
They did the T400 behind the BBC in my HQ ute and its still going strong.
Serviced the auto in my WN caprice and have just finished rebuilding the T350 out of my LS powered LJ. Putting it back in is my Christmas holiday job!
