Hi all,
Does anyone know a supplier who can produce carpet sections (moulded or otherwise) for hatch rear wheel arches without braces?
See pics- original brown section, new black section (intended for car with braced arch), pic of arch.
TIA

Hi Ed. My best suggestion would be to try Knox Auto Carpets (Melbourne). If they don't make them I would doubt anyone else would off the shelf. Next best would be to speak with a trimmer.  Cheers Ron

Thanks Ron, tried Knox with no luck. Will see what local trimmers can make up. Cheers, ed.

Check with Cindy at C & G auto upholstery. She is a gun.

It doesn't answer your question at all, but I trimmed my rear tubs (which I did add my own design of gusset to) in vinyl.

I never thought the factory carpet on the rear tubs looked acceptable... they never seem to fit well anyway. I put some soft stuff behind the carpet so they're comfortable to sleep next to, and they have a much higher standard of finish than the original setup in my mind. They would look better again if done by a professional trimmer I am sure.

Might be a consideration if you aren't worried about originality.

Thanks 308 Sunbird and Heath for the input.
I think I did try C & G but will call again and check.
I was also considering vinyl like you have done Heath, keeping it original is not important to me (it's a UC SL...). It looks good- thanks for the pic.
