Have been searching everywhere to find NOS or reproduction door vent covers without any luck ☹️

Recently saw a pic of some custom ones and wondering if anyone knows the source of them? I think they may be on king slr?

This is a pic of the vent I am talking about. Any info would be greatly appreciated 😁

So would you prefer the custom ones over factory ones?

Yeah I think I do actually prefer these for my build if I could get them. My originals just look a bit tacky even if they’re all cleaned up and have not been able to find reproduction.

What is in your earlier photo seems to be a billet replacement for a vent. I don't know if that is an off-the-shelf product, it may be specific to Jason Sandner's car.

But there's a polished stainless sheetmetal cover offered here:

Thanks Heath, I had spotted the ones that you sent the link for and they look like they could be an ok solution but feel that the ones on Jason’s car are just at that next level of class/quality. More than likely a custom job but would just love to know as these things keep me up at night! 😂 Not sure if he is a member of the forums or not or if anyone knows him, but was just hoping I had some luck in finding out. Wish I had been over at motorex and caught a moment to ask in person!

Yes, they're quite a significant step up in class... I think the sheetmetal ones are a bit underwhelming, personally.

I don't know Jason I'm sorry. I was at MotorEx but haven't met him.

Hey guys! I have a bit of an update on this. Ended up getting the sheet metal ones from kustomize my ride and they actually turned out pretty good. Will post some pics later. In the meantime I also think I’ve found who was doing the custom billet ones.. haha so yeah have got myself some of those on the way to give myself the option and will post some details on those when they arrive.

Oh, so these replace the plastic vents? I though the sheet metal ones were going to sit on-top of something and I was a bit confused by how that would look good.

Do they come with a black gauge behind the polished stainless?

They look good, but personally I prefer the understated appearance of original ones.

Yeah I think the idea is that they are supposed to sit on top of the original but we just put some mesh in behind them instead. The billet ones came today and they are very nice quality so yeah now I’m tossing up whether to switch them or leave these on for a bit then change them over later when I feel like tinkering with the overall look of the car. 😜
