If you were 1/10th the man PB was you would know when to shut the @#uck up...
now crawl back under your rock small man.

Loki, I just noticed your comments. You remind me of the woman trying to put Steve Irwin down. It takes a pretty gutless person to put someone down after they are dead.

Ease up hey Loki, Whatever you think of him as a person just try and remember what he means to a great deal of people and how he's touched their lives, if anything respect their grief mate.
For me PB was truly an inspiration in the way he took on life and what he acheived on and off the racetrack. Steve's dedication to the innocent world of animals deserves every acolade the man could possibly receive.
Hey I always thought these guys would be around forever

A pic I thought I would share. One of my favourite pics from the media day at Bathurst in 97. I caught up with Brocky at the end of the day to present him with the photo he is holding from the A9X club thanking him for his contribution to motorsport.

Peter Brock=Legend driver, he will be greatly missed.
He brought so much joy to everyone who loved motor racing and to people who didnt really give a stuff about motor racing as he was so damn good at it.
Regards to his family they must be in a lot of pain.
RIP Peter Brock

I was lucky enough to have met Peter at a specially organised Torana car show in Hurstbridge, and he was brilliant with everyone there, signing everything and anything, including my glovebox facia. Peter you will be sadly missed, especially from those in N.Z. To Bev and family I sent my deepest condolences! I, as well as you all, will never forget our "BROCKY" the man that put our cars on the map, THE KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!!!
RIP Peter BROCK 6.9.06

OH by the way LOKI people like Steve Irwin And Peter Brock have probably done more for charities to help starving and sick kids that you would do in 50 life times !!!!!!

Some people have mentioned that at least he was doing what he liked.........and others have said that isn't right. I would like to think however that if PB had a choice of any way to go that he would prefer going in what he loved rather than withering slowly away in 30 years time in a rest home. Lets face it no matter where, when or how he died we would be, and are greatly upset.
He is what started my love for Holdens. His grit and determination endeared me to the brand and i am sure that is the same for many others. I cannot think of any modern day competitor that has come close to him.
the king is dead, long live the king!!

Never got the chance to meet you, but always had wished to have gotten the chance to say you're the inspiration behind building the torri and love of V8 Holdens.
You will be sadly missed by every person that truely calls Australia home.
Your '79 A9X is waiting for you in heaven, mate
