The chassis that was hit up the arse by Mark Larkham and caught fire was never thrown on the tip. It has recently been sold by PMM to a guy who is going to "restore" it.  I mean......come on.  The only part of the original car left will be the front floors and firewall.  I hope he never claims it to be the actual car.

Well according to those who believe the body is the only part of a car you cant replace without changing its identity.

 

There is more left there to work with than some the “rebuilt” high end rare euro sports cars.

I’ve had this axe for 57 years
Replaced the handle seven times
But it’s only on the third head

Any car is repairable if you’re willing to spend the time.
And that will require a lot of time.
Those race cars are linked to race log books, that’s where the money is, history of that book.
Would hope they get the driveline for it too. to replace that or source the equivalent is big $, gearboxes alone are expensive and hard to come by for that era, very sought after for other forms of racing.

I think I would rather have the car that hit it..........even if it is a Ford.
