Hi guys.
This dizzy was in a mates motor, no branding on the outside or on the sensor that I can see.
It has what looks like a Bosch number on the cap.
It’s a Hall effect pick up.
There was no coil or module with it.
Anyone know if these can trigger a coil directly?
Or as I have done in my own 202 with a Bosch hei & used the Hall effect without the module to trigger a crane Hi6.
Currently I’ve put a Bosch hei that I rebuilt in my mates motor so just want to know if anyone knows what these are supplied for.

It also looks like it has no mechanical or vacuum advance either. The pickup is inductive, not hall effect.

It will need an ignition unit that has programmable advance & to drive the coil.

It does look to be well made & it's a good thing it has mechanical advance.

With the right trigger box ( to suit the inductive pickup) & coil it should be a good racetrack dissy.
