I haven't been able to source a VC-VH or WB Bosch dizzy and unfortunately the budget doesn't stretch to an MSD.
Is there any other options I should be looking at?
Cheers

I kept v8 hei dissy for an engine getting built....engine builder said you can buy new one & get them recurved for not much more than getting oem rebuilt/recurved

I put a Goss HEI and coil on my HJ Premier, seems to work OK. Straight bolt in but you cannot put it in a HT-HJ V8 with the vacuum canister in the same location the points dizzy goes as the module box hits, you have to rotate it so the leads end up a bit messy. Original Bosch one will be the same though. Certainly a lot cheaper than finding a used one and rebuilding it, then buying a Ford rotor button, HQ cap and buying a coil to suit.

By the time you spend a few hundred $$ on second hand unit and then potential cost of reconditioning you are definitely up near the price of a new good quality unit. The old saying buy once cry once keeps talking to my sensible side haha
