Thanks for nothing you careless f**kers.

 

The area I live in is one of Melbournes most rebuilt areas in the last 5 years. 

I have had to get many punctures repaired over this time, nearly always from these type of screws. This many at once is a new record…

 

If only they could keep their sharp objects off the roads. Or have their consumables DNA tagged so I could track them down and return their lost items to their tyres.

Had this a few times, it sucks.
I often wonder if tradie's utes suffer the same thing?..after all they normally park in groups on a job.Theoretically where they park should be a puncture hot spot...or is it the first corner after work where the pack of 1000 screws tips over and spills out?

LOL, I/m a tradie and it pisses me off when I get a screws in my tyres. There was one time though that I believe a screw that ended up in my left rear tyre was accidentally self inflicted.

In 2000, my parents took off for six years to do the big lap with a caravan.  It took three years to get to Sydney without a single puncture.  Then they got three in the next four weeks. All of them were Tec screws or the ones like above.

Yep, I carry one of them in the car. Far easier than winch a 25kg lump down from under the car. Most cases can get a plug into it whilst the tyre is on the car. Far easier with 295/70/18 tyres though with big space between the tyres and the car, and I do have an onboard air system to pump them up.

Surely your Maserati is on run flats?
