Hi everyone,

I was just wondering where everyones oil pressure gauge needle in their GTR dashboards sit at idle and at 3000rpm?

My gauge is the type with no numbers on it and it sits halfway between the first and second makings at idle, then up to just over halfway between the second and third marking when driving and never goes over halfway on the gauge.

Is that about normal?

It has a VDO 360.004 oil pressure sender

These gauges weren't super accurate, but depending on your engine temperature & the grade of oil you are using, those figures are OK.

That sender is correct. If you had the wrong sender fitted the gauge would be totally out & often operate in the reverse direction.
