Old mate made a bit of a mess when he broke the throttle stop bolt on his 175 cd's .

So he drilled it out got a new throttle stop but is unsure of size of the tap to re thread it.

Any ideas?

He can work it out by either taking it down to a bolt shop or working out what thread it is by trial fitting nuts (I assume he will have a bucket of them like most of us) and using the nut to select the correct tap.
