Hi All,

What type of engine fan (plain or clutch) on 253 12/77 LX SL no air and what spacer size do I need.

When I find out the correct ones (Fan ,spacer & Studs) I will be looking to buy. Anyone have this stuff let me know.

Cheers Craig.

I think there are three sizes. 375mm was fitted to '73 XU1 and L34 as standard, 394mm, which I guess is the standard 6 cyl size, and 445mm which I believe is the standard fan for V8 Torana and HJ Holden.

The centre of the fan needs to be raised to take the longer spacer. The 6 cylinders had a short spacer and the centre section of the fan is flat.
