Have a look in one of the Owner Guides or Manuals from the 70's, it should have an address. If you don't have one I'll look in one later. It'll almost certainly be on the same premises as the Holden dealer, they would have just separated it so the nuns that went there didn't get offended by the crude Holden salesmen!

So was the Holden dealership on the far left, then the yard for the nuns on the right?

Old glass top bowsers I'd reckon.

I am guessing, Car yard left, showroom/office right, shed behind yard- workshop.

Did they have 2 x dealerships with different dealer codes? There was 2 x Gosford dealers with consecutive cost centre codes: 522-523. I was wondering if one was a Holden dealership and the other Torana?

Old glass top bowsers I'd reckon.
Looked for something close,
and remembered Pat Cullens did off-road racing,
and the sponcer was AMPOL.
The close-up shot of the bowser image shows writing across the middle of the bowser hat,
just like AMPOL, and the front is white:

Very interesting old pics there.
The dealers have always had nice big buildings, financial wizards really....considering ..."we'll be lucky to break even on this car at the price you are getting it for mate.." and the other usual B.S.

I remember the used car lot at North City Holden ,all the individual offices looking over the car lot .The salesman would all come out at once and pounce on prospective buyers .”This car won’t last long mate! I’ve had other people interested “😏

North City had nothing on Brian Gardiner's. In the 1980's, one of their salesman had my sister in law sign a form before she could test drive a car. She found out when she got back that she had already bought it.

522 Gosford Motors (Retail) Pty Ltd
523 NOBLE MOTORS (Most likely all Noble dealerships/locations were under the D/CD 523)
There were 21 GM/GMA/GMH dealers in Gosford from 1921 to the end
