Hi All

Just fitting a Boot light to a LC Torana.

I have seen pictures of the bracket and switch which I will buy but where does the light socket go?

I can't find a picture or a hole where it might fit.

Cheers

John

See this hole, there is a matching one in the drivers side panel. That is where the lamp holder resides.

GMH put the lamp holder hole and the switch bracket mtg on both sides of the boot to suit with left hand and right hand drive models.

I'm not doubting you, but why would the boot light need to be on the other side for left-hand-drive cars ?

To suit with the body wiring harness running down the left hand side.

Do you know that for sure.

I've worked on a LHD HD & a LHD HT & they both had the body wiring harness in the same place as RHD cars.
