Guys can you please let me know what you are using and where you are putting the sensors?
When I got the car my fan is controlled by a thermometer type tube that was placed in the top radiator hose. Not what I want.
Cheers. (I'll keep searching)

Before going EFI I used a Tridon switch mounted in the manifold (next to the gauge sender). These are relatively neat and offer built-in hysteresis (switches off 5 degrees cooler than on).

TFS111 looks like a good option, that may have been the one I was using. Make sure it's a little above the coolant themostat temp or the fans will never switch off.

Hi Brad. I have a Davies, Craig unit Into a port in the inlet manifold. The control panel is mounted under the glove box for access should I need to adjust the temp settings. Cheers Ron

Thanks gents, both look like good options. I do like the TFS111. Cheers

I think WB had a switch in the top of the "top" tank just below the filler. just a threaded hole. I have seen them in HQ-HZ radiators too. The switches are cheap too. You don't have to switch a `2V wire with them either, you can just switch the 0V lead of the control relay, makes it neater.
