Did the LJ ever have shims on the rear door hinges on some cars ? .

 

Having a hard time getting the doors to line up , they are from a different car and not sure whats going on , thinking shims may help

I think they used cruder methods to get them to fit in the factory, but shims can help. Donor panels are often challenging.

They used shims on the striker plates in some cases.

Adjusting plates.Not sure on hinges though.

Finally got them to line up close to where they need to be at least on 3 doors 

 

I'm missing one striker and some adjusting plates but will do for now
