Gday guys.

 

I have an LH project (75 LH SL 253 auto) which is slowly creeping along.

 

The next focus for me is on the steering, which is all ok other than the rack.

 

Both inner bushings are completely shot with heaps of play with the inner tie rods

 

The advise I got was to replace the complete rack but none are available now.

 

Looks like I can get both inner and outer tie rods, but thats about it.

 

Just wanted to check if anyone has any contacts (I'm on the Central Coast NSW) for either steering rack reco's, or if its fairly straight forward and I should have a crack myself.

Hi Darren. I got a changeover rack from Supasteer at the time. He was in Melbourne but I see he is now on the boarder at Yarrawonga. May be worth a call if you want a refurbished unit. Cheers Ron
