Neil, Greg, one of our members, is flying over to Perth on Saturday. If at all possible, he would like to catch up with members of your Club, and attend the cruise if anyone has a spare seat.

If it's OK, I'll pass on your contact details to him, and he will contact you either during the week, or when he arrives in Perth.

Thanks,

Dave G.

I've told a fair bunch of my friends as well, so there should be a good turnout, and some nice cars as well.

I will have a spare seat in Flatliner next sunday for your member just get him to ring me when he gets into town and I will help him out.
My number is 0407 444 917.

I have contacted the GTR XU1 club over here and also spread the word around through all our members, friends and families so I would hope to get a huge turn out to honour the great man.

I am also planing to make the trip to Melbourne for his service, work permitting, if anyone can help me out over that side it would be fantastic.
Cheers Rob

I would love to be there but unfortunately I have had to fly to Norway for 2 weeks for work.

Could someone take some pics, I would love to see the turn out.

Condolenses to the Brock family.

Brad.

Cruise Update,

At this stage we have contacted the GTR XU1 Club of W.A, W.A Monaro and the W.A Holden Club of W.A confirmed date and time and have been told they will all attend.

We have contacted Channel Nine and Seven news and told them of our plans so hopefully we can get some coverage on the TV.
The West Australia newspaper have been contacted so they can get someone along to cover the cruise.

So now its up to us to turn out and make this a huge event to honour "The King".

Cheers Rob

Hi all,

HSV Club have also asked to join us, so the numbers are growing.

Dave, I have spoken to Greg and Yolanda tonight, and we have a volunteer to pick them up from the city for the cruise.

Tiny, yes we will be taking photos, plus bonus coverage (maybe) on TV & paper. We are organising a wreathe from our club, but would be happy to lay another on behalf of the forum, will obviously be wearing our club shirts, but how do I get a forum shirt to perform the task?

See you all there, for those who can't make it, we will do you all proud. We should be there by about 10am Perth time.

Cheers,
Neil.

Gday Neil,

Thanks for working along with the forum as well to make this a success!
Unfortuantely there really arent any shirts left from the sale... so it would be a matter of borrowing one from a forum member over there!

I'm hoping that quite a few forum members are able to attend, and i understand that if theyre there on behalf of their club then the club shirt would need to be worn. I would really appreciate and hope that the forum members may take their shirts along and even wear them for the laying of the forum wreath as it happens.

Once again thanks, and as sad as it is, I hope the day turns out really well as a mark of respect to Peter Brock.

Cheers.

Sincerely hope there isnt a high dickhead factor on this cruise as it has been advertised on a few forums who are frequented by spankers who see cruises as an excuse to act like a hero in front of a large group of others. Reconsidering my mode of transport now as i dont want 2 smashed Toranas
