Dave (sorry dude..) and Tinks laying the wreath
Was a great cruise, i'm sorry if i seemed a bit rude by not saying much and then leaving early but i guess the moment got to me.. we'll have to have another cruise soon i think considering the great turnout.
... anyone get a chance to see the Walkinshaw with 8500k's on the clock?

All were well behaved, and we got to meet a few forum members, as well as a few prospective members for our club. There were Toranas, Monaros, Commodores, Jap cars, and even a few Fords. By the time we got to the site (after stopping along the cruise route - a 3 year old's bladder isn't very big, you know) the crowd of people was overwhelming, all gathered around the shrine. The silence was deafening. We layed our wreath, along with some pictures, and posed for a photo or two for the paper, then moved away to let others do their thing. I got swept away and missed Dave laying the Forum wreath, but I think Dan got a picture.
There were TV crews there, and they filmed the cruise from the chopper, which I was looking forward to seeing, but it must have been left on the cutting room floor.
We got a few comments on organising such a great day, but really it organised itself, we didn't have to do a lot at all, which was good considering the short notice.
Thanks to all who attended, I'm sure that Peter was watching and would have been very touched by the display of rememberance.
If anyone has any digital photos from today, I would appeciate a PM and I will give you my postal address to send a disc of photos if possible.
Cheers,
